History of the brand

Continental is a German international consortium for producing brake systems, electronics, automotive safety, tyres and many other goods for the logistics field. Continental’s headquarters are located in Hannover, Germany. The company is the 4th biggest leader after Bridgestone, Michelin and Goodyear. It was founded in 1871 and initially used to operate as a producer of rubber under the name “Continental-Caoutchouc und Gutta-Percha Compagnie”.
